The territory of Chioggia and the Delta del Po, enclosed between land and sea but also between the largest lagoon and the widest river mouth of the country, has peculiar environmental characteristics. The mild climate has favored the cultivation of several vegetables that have now become local products recognized at national level, while the low sandy seabed of the High Adriatic Sea and the South Lagoon made Chioggia an important fishing port and the first Italian producer for some fish products.

The whole area is scattered with areas of great naturalistic interest, many of which are protected and easily visited. Even art and culture are not lacking: Chioggia, a very ancient lagoon city, has an illustrious past, of which you can still appreciate the atmosphere walking through its calls, admiring the ancient buildings overlooking Corso del Popolo and Canal Vena or entering some of its numerous churches.
