In this room you can sit and watch some films, biology and ecology give way to the fishing traditions and culture of an area, the Chioggio area, which has derived its raison d’être from its relationship with the sea. How has the way of “going to sea” changed in the last 150 years? The canals of Chioggia, once teeming with bragagne and bragozzi, are now home to imposing fishing boats, the colors of the sails are lost in front of the efficiency of the engine… and the fish at the market is no longer the same. The exhibition panels and multimedia content prompt reflection on the current state of fishing and marine environments, and the choice of which topic to explore remains in the hands of the visitor.
