Visiting the Olivi Museum is a unique opportunity to get a close look at numerous marine animals, to learn more about their characteristics and living environment: the Upper Adriatic Sea.
Room after room, the collection, exhibition panels and multimedia stations introduce us to topics such as the evolution of the variety of marine animals, the loss of biodiversity, the fragility of ecosystems and the vulnerability of species.
The path inevitably leads to questions about the relationship between man and the sea, between tradition and innovation, yesterday and today.
Looking to tomorrow, the hope is that the Giuseppe Olivi Museum can contribute to increasing in everyone the respect and sense of responsibility for the sea, a resource that, today more than ever, needs to be managed in a sustainable way.
