This room focuses on several interactive multimedia installations that provide insight into the different sensory channels that marine animals use to understand what the world around them looks like. In addition to the senses that we also possess-smell, sight, touch, balance, hearing-we also discover some “special” senses: the ability to perceive an electric field that helps sharks in hunting and the ability to register, thanks to the lateral line organs, the movements of the water, which makes possible the harmonious synchrony of sardine shoals. Speaking of hearing then it is not possible not to talk about sounds and so a special corner is dedicated to the singing performances of some marine animals: not only mammals and fish but also crustaceans and mollusks!
