The Olivi Museum is offering PCTO programs for secondary school students interested in learning about science outreach and public relations techniques in a museum setting.
Students will receive targeted training in the history and scientific importance of the museum’s collections, the conservation of artifacts, and marine organism knowledge, with a targeted focus on the Upper Adriatic.
In the second phase, students will acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to design and conduct public activities within a science museum.
Subsequently, students will use the skills they have acquired to design and conduct guided tours and educational services for the public.
This initiative is intended for female students from various majors with a foundation in cell biology, genetics, zoology, and ecology.
